Pros and cons of AVSub app for iPhone and iPad

AVSub app good for

It does what it is supposed to do. Support is great I had a problem with casting my music and they helped me resolve it.
With a free API I thought I was going to go for one of the unpaid versions of this software but boy was I wrong. This app has everything in the cleanest, smoothest and most intuitive interface. I honestly thought of writing my own app for a little while but I know I couldnt out-do this one. Give this dev the $5 and I promise you wont look back.
Outstanding feature-rich and simply designed subsonic client.
I suffered with the free apps. Then I bought a couple of paid apps. This is the best Subsonic app right now you wont be disappointed. The developer is very active, creating new features and refining old interactions.

Some bad moments

Too bad you cannot test the application before buying it. Is it a bug or is it due to the configuration or my system ?
Im delighted to see someone tackle the problem of accessing subsonic while driving. iSub is the best iOS app available for subsonic right now. But it is really quite sad that that is the case. iSub has a confusing interface when youre not also trying to drive a car. It is absolutely maddening to use while on the road. So points for addressing this problem. Improvements are needed however. Most importantly: playlist support. Recently added and listened to is nice, but nowhere near as useful as access to the many subsonic playlists Ive already created. Ability to star tracks would also be nice (iSub doesnt offer that). Also, why double tap on artwork for play/pause (had to visit web site to figure that one out)? I see no downside in using single tap for that instead. Easier while driving and more discoverable. Also, landscape view option is essential for an app that purports to be car-friendly (iSub supports landscape). Since most gps apps work best in landscape mode, thats how my car mount is oriented. I experienced performance issues as well: I was frequently unable to navigate as expected as though the app had frozen or something. But overall, this app holds great promise. If development continues and my concerns addressed, the stars stay.
Tried to delete and reinstall and it still crashes on launch. This is after two updates that have come out. This is is the only app I have that this happens to. Please fix.
I used this app during a 12 hour road trip and it worked flawlessly. Highly recommended to anyone who uses Subsonic in the car.
This is getting really useful. Thanks so much for the random shuffles!
I started looking for an alternative to iSub when it became a little buggy with the latest release (some tracks not showing up for some albums). I found Carsub and it looks like the app is the heir apparent for when support and further development ceases for iSub (not too much longer now). Carsub is well supported and new features are being released frequently. The interface is simple and easy to navigate. Keep the updates coming, Mr. Levy! Youve got a great app!!
